Is there a way of adding a department or subject field to the standard table for courses as well as Special:Courses? 

As a ambassador, I would feel the more comfortable working with a class within the subjects of my major instead of having to guess if I know the general information behind the area. I am sure that other OAs feel the same way.

This is possible now, but will be easier after switching to ContentHandler
