When adding new sections to a page (&action=edit&section=new), with "preview on first 
edit" turned on, the first edit page shows a blank "preview".

It has the normal message about it being a preview and changes not being saved but 
there is nothing under it.

Fixed on CVS HEAD.

Why isn't this trivial? Isn't it just a cosmetic problem?

It's not even a problem any more. Commenting on a RESOLVED bug is akin to
talking to oneself. ;-)

What was the point of that comment? And it's not 
necessarily talking to oneself because the bug can be 
reopened.
