Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Mike Lindeen 2005-12-22 13:14:15 UTC
According to the policy and what Brion said at,
the semi protection scheme is set to stop anons from posting to S-P pges (which
it is doing) but also accounts newer than 4 days old. However, on the George W
Bush page and others, it is letting brand spanking new accounts post. Please fix
this as it is one of the key components of S-P. Otherwise, S-P will be rendered
somewhat pointless. Thanks.

For what it's worth, note that Template:Sprotected currently only talks about
unregistered users being blocked from editing.

The template should be kept in sync with what the code actually does.
