As I changed in the prefrence my skin to prabably "myskin" it was not displayed corectly. Then I tried to change the skin back but I the praticular link was not clickable altough indicated as link. With the help of an adminstrator the skin could be changed back. Please see my mail to the administrator: Moin, Am 06.12.05 schrieb Helmut Hahn <hhahn.de@gmx.net>: > Ich bin als User 19871 (Helmut Hahn) in Wikimedia Commons registiert. Nein, außer das du direkt mit einem Entwickler redest, fällt mir da nichts ein. Vorschlag: Ändere dein Passwort und sag mir nochmal deinen Benutzernamen und dein Passwort und welches Skin du haben möchtest. I didn't think the "myskin" dummy skin was installed on Wikimedia?
Hmm. So it is. Perhaps that should change.
'MySkin' is provided as a minimal base which extreme customizers can use to build up their custom CSS/JS stuff on top of, without having to deconstruct the default MonoBook bits. However it should *work* fine despite looking plain; more information from the original poster about what wasn't clickable, and what browser is being used, is required.
In deed the skin was realy plain so that I wanted to change ist back. The particular link to change this back was not clickable The Browser was Internet Explorer

I've had this problem. I chose another skin and I hate it. But it will not let me change it back. I'm so annoyed having spent so much time trying to find out how to do one simple thing I am thinking about leaving Wikipedia altogether. Good luck with finding a cure cos nothing seems to be helping me!
Try going to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences?useskin=monobook (or equivalent) and see if you can change it from there. It should still be changeable without that, though . . .

WORKSFORME. Can switch between all skins (including reported MySkin) without any problems. Issues with the tabs must've been sorted out a long time ago.
