Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Solveig 2005-12-05 06:41:17 UTC
The specialpages are no longer actualised ;

[http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Uncategorizedpages Uncategorizedpages]
used to be actualised once a day ;

[http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Shortpages Shortpages] was real-time
actualised.

I don't give more details cause my english sucks... but this pages were my
working tools and it's hard to contribute now, so I hope it's possible to fix it
soon. Thanks !

The reason for this is that to keep these up to date in real time requires quite
a bit of database work, and when a wiki starts getting as popular as Fr-Wiki now
is (congratulations!) then that tends to become infeasible. I appreciate it's
less convenient, but if you can ask someone with the right permissions (certain
of the developers) nicely, then they might be so good as to run the rebuild
script to update it. Alas, this would be a one-off update.

I'm going to mark this as INVALID since it discusses a problem already filed as
bug 3945 but can't be marked as a proper duplicate since it also discusses the
update frequency of the querycache on Wikimedia sites, a different issue
alltogather.
