Hallo! This bug is about the namespace filtering related to action=move in Special:Contributions and Special:Recentchanges. namespace filtering works properly regarding action=move at: http://test.leuksman.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=Gangleri&namespace= http://test.leuksman.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=Gangleri&namespace=2 http://test.leuksman.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=Gangleri&namespace=4 each links show actions as "(User:Move source moved to FiverAlpha:Move source: test)" namespace filtering is *not* supported regarding action=move at: http://test.leuksman.com/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&namespace= http://test.leuksman.com/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&namespace=2 http://test.leuksman.com/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&namespace=4 only the first link shows the action I suggest to implement the same behaviour at Special:Recentchanges. Expected site effects depending on the implementation: - one solution would be to have two entries at Special:Recentchanges - a clever solution would show only one if the actual log line is preserved; however for namespace filtering the affected lines should be shown regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
Opened Bug 4172: action=delete; action=protect; action=protect; action=unprotect should generate an entry in the history regarding filtering for other actions.

When I opened this request I payed only attention to the availability of move log events while filtering. comment 2, comment 3 and comment 4 relate to new Bug 5052: Zero changes' (as used together with page moves) should be evaluated shown in Special:Recentchanges?namespace=foo, Special:Recentchangeslinked/bar?namespace=foo, Special:Contributions/foobar&namespace=foo, Special:Watchlist
removing dependency of Bug 2468: The code that generates the namespace form for 'Special:' Contributions, Allpages and Recentchanges should be merged and reused for other special pages with namespace filtering Bug 2468 is only about the *namespace form* not about the "queries" ---- Refered to problems described above about rendering in the "linewise result section" at bug 5054 comment 1 Bug 5054: The code that generates the linewise result section for 'Special:' Contributions, Recentchanges, Recentchangeslinked, Watchlist should be merged and reused for other special pages with linewise result section
