http://wikidata-test-repo.wikimedia.de/wiki/Q61827 Trying to add interwiki :en:Molecular oxygen, it is recognized by the autocomplete; but when submit returns the error «Edit not allowed: El enlace del sitio [[enwiki:Oxygen]] ya es usado por el elemento [[Q327]].» The problem is that in the English Wikipedia, the article of the element and the article of the molecule are merged onto one single article, and the last one redirects to the first one. In my experience, this is not an exception nor it's limited to chemistry. Often I found two articles on one wikipedia merged on another wiki.
This is correct and the intended behavior of Wikidata. Wikidata requires a 1 on 1 mapping between items and articles. We are aware that this means that not all current language links can be replaced through Wikidata, but this is only true in a small number of cases. Note that the current language link system will still continue to be available.
I think this is no a 1-1 problem. There is: Q327 - :es:Oxígeno - :en:Oxygen And I try to add: Q61827 - :es:Dioxígneo - :en:Molecular oxygen :en:Molecular oxygen (id #3740341) is a different article, at this moment redirecting to :en:Oxygen (id #22303).
