BUG MIGRATED FROM SOURCEFORGE http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1008516&group_id=34373&atid=411192 Originally submitted by rlandmann (rlandmann) 2004-08-13 07:58 Sometime in the last 48 hours or so, problems have started to show up in articles where bold and italic text are nested. Aircraft and ship articles often use this kind of formatting, and while it's possible to "force" the parser to render the text correctly by inserting a white space, this is affecting existing articles... See examples at [[CASA C-101]], [[Transall C-160]], [[HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913)]]
Created attachment 2 [details] Patch against current CVS Ouch. I'm responsible for this. :) The attached patch suggests a possible fix. I can't test it now because my local installation is not working. If you can test it, please do so and set the 'reviewed' keyword if it's working correctly.
Tested and works :)
Installed bugfix on live servers. The bug is fixed, but old pages may still display the broken rendering due to page and parse caching. After they are edited, they should show correctly.
