We would like to create a new CTA6 to promote Teahouse for auto-confirmed editors. It would say something like: 'Meet other editors To discuss editing on Wikipedia, come to the Teahouse, where new and experienced editors gather to exchange helpful tips. [Visit Teahouse]' The actual wording of this CTA6 will written collaboratively with Siko Bouterse and will be added as a note to this Bugzilla ticket. The design of this CTA6 will be the same as what we are using for other CTAs, as shown on this feature requirements page: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Article_feedback/Version_5/Feature_Requirements#Calls_to_Action_.28CTAs.29 From a bucketing standpoint, this CTA6 would only be shown to 10% of users who are auto-confirmed editors. It would not be shown to readers.
Pushed to Gerrit (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/20009/) & prototype. If you're not bucketed in the 10% to view this CTA, you can test it by adding ?aftv5_cta=6 to the url, like so: prototype.wikimedia.org/release-en/Golden-crowned_Sparrow?aftv5_cta=6 Just let me know if the copy should change. Also, I enabled it at 10% by lowering the odds of CTA1 from 50% to 40%. If the 10% should be sought somewhere else, just ping me ;)
Requesting CTA6 copy updated to: Need help editing Wikipedia? To discuss editing on Wikipedia, come to the Teahouse, where new and experienced editors gather to exchange helpful tips. [Visit Teahouse] Please do include an AT ref tag in the link to Teahouse
Added ?ref=aft & updated the copy
