I received a "You have a new message" because GerardM created http://yi.wiktionary.org/wiki/User_talk:gangleri with *lowercase* starting *g* However http://yi.wiktionary.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Mytalk points to http://yi.wiktionary.org/wiki/User_talk:Gangleri with *upercase* starting *G* MediaWiki should take care of this. P.S. A site effect. If I edit that page ( http://yi.wiktionary.org/wiki/User_talk:gangleri ) I get "You have a new message" . This normaly does not happen if you write to your *own* talk page.

This is now possible with r57558. By configuring $wgCapitalLinks = false; and $wgCapitalLinkOverrides[NS_USER] = true, you can limit user namespace pages to capital-only.
