Description David Hagood 2005-10-22 14:48:46 UTC
The trolls and vandals seem to have discovered a new trick - perform multiple
edits on an article, the second to last edit of which "seems reasonable" and the
last edit is garbage. Then, when somebody comes along and reverts the last edit
to the second to last edit, the edits prior to that will seem to be made by the
reverter.

Ideally, when displaying edits - e.g. for "recent changes" - any consecutive
edits by the same person should be collapsed into one edit - that way if a troll
makes 5 consecutive edits, the first three being garbage, the fourth a
reasonable if minor edit, and the fifth a troll, then ALL FIVE edits are shown
as one - making it easier to see and revert.

Rollback does take multiple consecutive edits by the same
user.
