Description Anonymous Sredna 2005-10-22 02:45:16 UTC
I keep getting a 1251 Could not connect to database error. I've made sure that everything is set up correctly and
typed correctly in the form. What now?

I did check. I'm using a new version of PHP and MySQL.

Now mysqld won't even keep the server running! It just says Started and then Stopped. What now?

This is beyond the scope of MediaWiki; check MySQL support forums.
