Description Fredrik Orderud 2005-10-19 23:10:10 UTC
Math formulas in printed articles does not look good, since they are rasterized
for screen rendering (~100DPI), which is far coarser compared to printers (>300DPI).

Would it be possible to develop a "PDF output" module, which creates
downloadable PDF-documents containing vectorized math of high quality? This
would certainly improve the quality of printed technical articles.

I imagine the "pdflatex" program or sourcecode could be used to accomplish such
a feat, since it produces PDF-files containing vectorized math.
