Description dake 2005-10-19 20:44:17 UTC
We tried to link an article from :nap on :fr, here's the name of the article :

Lista d''e paise d''o munno

http://nap.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lista_d%27%27e_paise_d%27%27o_munno

but the interwiki [[nap:Lista d''e paise d''o munno]] is not properly parsed. It
results in a slanted text instead of a link. Someone managed to find an ugly
hack with a <nowiki> tag but the bots like interwiki.py remove it.

http://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Liste_des_pays_du_monde&diff=3757526&oldid=3757461

Probably something to fix in the interwiki regexp.
Comment 1 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2005-12-01 22:38:58 UTC
'' is parsed in the link when it should not be :/

Reassigning to MediaWiki product.
Comment 2 Nicolas Dumazet 2008-03-16 18:18:49 UTC
Still live, even with the new parser.
Comment 3 lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2008-03-16 18:47:33 UTC
does this relate to
bug 004598 Order of title recognition and bold / italic rendering should be reversed
bug 004601 Exact search for titles using php meta / escape characters

they relate to handling of strings as *G''t*
