Description David Benbennick 2005-10-18 21:48:47 UTC
User:BrokenSegue/monobook.js contains the string "unverified".
Although no category links appear at the bottom of the page, it does appear
in the category listing at .
Comment 1 Aryeh Gregor (not reading bugmail, please e-mail directly) 2006-12-03 18:20:59 UTC
Why is this incorrect?
Comment 2 Rotem Liss 2006-12-03 18:22:27 UTC
Anyway, it seems to be a specific problem which is not exist anymore.
Comment 3 Seb35 2006-12-06 21:41:30 UTC
I reopen this bug because it still exist, although it don't appear in
the category given in the example.

A new example is fr:Catégorie:\',\', with the monobook.js of the
user EvHart, which appears in this category because he has written in
his monobook Catégorie:\',\' in a script. There were other examples
in some categories.
Comment 4 Seb35 2006-12-06 21:48:53 UTC
The example I give is a bit different because it's a category and the
original problem is with a template, but it's the same problem. With a
template an example is w:fr:Catégorie:Orthographe à vérifier.
Comment 5 Aryeh Gregor (not reading bugmail, please e-mail directly) 2006-12-07 03:25:58 UTC
User:Lupin asks people to add a link in a comment when they copy a script,
so he can keep track of them via Whatlinkshere. Possibly this behavior is
desirable?
Comment 6 Rob Church 2006-12-07 03:47:30 UTC
I would consider it desirable behaviour; being able to track use of scripts,
etc. is useful for maintenance and locating problems.

If it's causing *stupid* categorisations, then use it split across two strings,
concatenated in the script.
