Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Tietew 2005-10-04 13:39:47 UTC
When a MediaWiki page is deleted, MessageCache is not updated immediately.

Then wfMsg returns an old (deleted) message instead of the default message
defined in LanguageXX.php.

update MessageCache on delete MediaWiki page
Comment 2 Aphaia 2005-10-04 13:46:46 UTC
It causes a headache on Japanese project(s), recently LanguageJA.php updated.
There are many modified messages though, most of them are okay with default
ones, which are currently written in English due to former settings. If message
deletion means replace with default messages, it makes updating quite easier
than under current situation supposedly.

Looks good; applied patch to REL1_5 and HEAD.
