Description Stephan 2005-09-28 13:52:03 UTC
if i Export many Sites at one Time via .../Special:Export paste all pages in the
form one per line ... i can save the content just as html or txt not as xml i
think thats may the reason that i cannot import the file (if i try i get:
<importuploaderror> OR the file is empty)

if i just export one page via .../Special:Export/Page_Name everything works fine
Comment 1 Stephan 2005-09-28 13:54:25 UTC

Sorry, what bug are you actually reporting? What is the exact problem you're
having? It looks to me as if you kind of fixed your problem, but I'm afraid your
report is a little confusing. If you could reword it, it would help us.

Comment 5 Stephan 2005-09-29 08:38:17 UTC
ok ill try to describ it again

if i export the content like shown in attachment "Export example" i can save the
dump just as html or text file. if i do that, and than trying to import there
comes the error: "<importuploaderror&gt" OR "the file is empty"

if i export only one page shown in attachment "export via adress" everything
works fine and i am also able to import it later

Please make sure that:
1) You are not corrupting the file on save (some browsers have a 'save as HTML archive' mode
which will corrupt the output if used)
2) You are not trying to upload too large a file (see settings in php.ini)
Comment 7 Stephan 2005-09-30 07:43:55 UTC
i think the browser is not the problem cause exporting one site only works, just
if i try more the file isn´t correct

two sites at on time is not possible i tried it with FF 1.7, IE 6, Opera 8.5
