Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Sequences like   or unicode characters like
舵 leave the URL not recognized properly.
That is if I type [[അ]] it appears as text, with
the [[ and ]], and not as a URL.

Are you working on a wiki that uses Unicode or only Latin-1?
I've made several successful links with character entities
(& sequences) in them, but only with Latin-1 characters on
[[en:]], a Latin-1 wiki.

Foreign symbols should search on the nearest similar, eg.

"Métrique Système International"
"Metrique Systeme International"

should be, both findable (redirections to SI in this case),
rather than the long list of selectable sort-of's.

I believe that this was fixed some time ago; in any case, the links [[ ]]
and [[അ]] seem to work just fine on the English Wikipedia now.
