Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description tsor 2005-09-16 12:58:17 UTC
For improving quality assurance please give us following feature:

I want to observe a category XY. Please add automatically all articles of XY to
my watchlist.

If someone adds a new article to cat. XY add this article automatically to my
watchlist. If someone removes an articel from cat XY do not remove this article
from my watchlist.
Comment 1 Filip Maljkovic [Dungodung] 2005-09-16 13:03:29 UTC
I'd just like to add that this should be optional and configurable in the
preferences menu.
Comment 2 tsor 2005-09-16 13:07:53 UTC
There should be a selectable option

   (1) only the category itself without sub-categories
   (2) include sub-categories
