Description Finlay McWalter 2005-09-08 09:58:40 UTC
Make a template on commons that includes a link to [[special:upload]]. Include
this on an image description page on commons. Then view that image description
page on en.wikipedia. Instead of a normally formatted link, one sees:

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Upload" title="Special:Upload">upload

Note that if the [[special:upload]] link is put directly into the commons image
page, it works correcty - the problem is manifest only when a template expansion
is involved.

See bug 2726 for the same symptoms using a "[[:Image:" link, without a template.
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2005-12-28 23:16:01 UTC
Fixed along with bug 2726 in CVS HEAD.
