In some cases espacially on the Main Pages an attribute for replacing the link
from a Image thumbnail to it's description page with a link to another page
could be useful. In these cases we use at the moment a dirty hack by making the
image description page a redirect - see [[:w:Main Page]] at the right top corner
obove "Other Languages".

My proposal for the attribute would look like this:

You can use the extension <imagelink>.
