Selecting it-it after od; Chromium 14.0.835.202 (Build 103287 Linux) Ubuntu 11.10

Not sure where to report it.
When logged off, if I try to set the language to it-it, the previously (automatically or manually) selected language is kept. If I enter setlang=it or I look for Italian in the complete list, it works. With uselang=it-it, it fallbacks to English.

Attached an example with Chromium. HTTP_Accept headers: text/html, */* ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.3 gzip,deflate,sdch it-IT,it;q=0.8,en-US;q=0.6,en;q=0.4

Another example, with FF.
Automatically selected language was es, HTTP_ACCEPT Headers: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7 gzip, deflate it-it,it;q=0.8,en-us;q=0.5,en;q=0.3
Comment 2 Niklas Laxström 2011-11-03 17:52:32 UTC
What you see is not part of language selector, but proof of concept extension called Kieli. Of course when this gets further than just proof of concept it should not show language codes which are not supported.
Comment 3 Siebrand Mazeland 2012-07-09 05:44:54 UTC
Closing WONTIX. Kieli is now obsolete, and replaced by the "Universal Language Selector" work in progress".
