Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Daniel Herding 2005-08-13 23:27:50 UTC
Hi,

On
http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nederlandse_Spoorwegen#Reizigersvervoer_per_spoor_in_Nederland
there is an image named 'Thalys.jpg' with the subtitle 'Thalys'.

Thalys.jpg is on Commons, but the thumbnail on nl: is showing another image of
the Thalys, I don't know which one. If you resize the thumbnail to 190px, it
will show the correct Commons image, but when you set the size back to default
it will be the wrong image again. So it seems to be a problem with thumbnail
caching.

its the wikipedia squids that seem to do this. shift/ctrl(varies which by
browser) +refresh should force a new version through from the apaches.

I am inclined to suspect this was a one-off caching issue.
