A select all version button would be an useful thing in undelete version page When undelete a page there are many checkboxes (unselected) to select what version to undelete. It often happened that the page was delete to remove just one version (since there is no other way to delete one version of the page, the only way is to delete the whole page and then restore all the version except the one you want to be removed). To obtain this you have to select manually all the version except the one you want to remove. A select all button (which can be also implemented as a client side via javascript) would make the job easier (just click the select all version button and deselecte the one you do not want to be restored)
No, a "delete this revision" feature would be a good idea. An "undelete all revisions except one" feature is a horrible idea which has caused many problems on the site to date and will continue to do so until the need to do it is removed.
Seconded. Let's just have a clean way of deleting one or more revisions. I suggested a Special:Deleterevisions page on one of the mailing lists...
ABCD changed the subject here from: "A select all version button would be an useful thing in undelete version page" to "Add a way to delete only one revision" This is same to the summary of Bug 3576: Patch to implement rev_deleted (deletion of single article revisions) best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
Duping to 3576 because it's the same fundamental issue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 3576 ***
