Could it be that the search server was done at the time the search query got
requested ?
Probably need to report a clean error message instead.

The server was effectively probably down.

It's, in my opinion, a very low priority bug/feature/request?,
but we should try to catch such cases and send a less 'agressive' message
to the end-user.

Really not important...

These were cleaned up some while ago; failure is quiet.
