Description T. Gries 2011-08-26 05:54:37 UTC
Category picker: when selecting the empty line of the selection list, or otherwise blanking the input line: interpret this as "delete categorie" selection.

When first time users use the category picker but want to clear a previous or current entry, they try to blank the line and to save (ok) this blank entry, and hoping that this entry may be deleted.

But it can currently not deleted by writing and saving a blank entry.

A blank entry should be treated as "users wants to delete" and the same action as clicking the small "x" (action link) should be done, perhaps after prompting the user with a confirmation box.

This is the behavior of the new category picker, that if the input box is empty, we don't add the file to an empty category (clearly). There are also "remove" buttons for each category, but that's really just a usability thing.

Closing as fixed.
