Two things (both related)... 1. In "Contributions" (HIST) & (diff) : HISTory's parentheses are not part of the link, in the DIFFerence link, they are. 2. User Contributions page layout is nicely designed, Recent Changes and Watchlist should follow suit. Take a look at the following examples, Which is easier to read? It's been rather well-established as of late that users don't like us messing about with the appearance of change lists...
Changed the links on Contributions to (diff; hist) in r37872. Didn't address the RC/watchlist display suggestion of putting the diff/hist links before the page title, but that makes a lot of sense.
Reverted that change for now (r37898) given that default and enhanced recent changes do it differently -- the original contribs list style matches that of default recent changes.

Done in r60512. Swap links of hist & diff location on Special:Contributions for consistency with RC/WL Now RC/WL incl. enhanced versions and Contributions have the same order of 'diff' and 'hist' links.
