Description Balram Adlakha 2005-07-23 21:11:17 UTC
"hindi" written in the hindi script, in the languages section, actually reads
"hanindi" instead of "hindi." Infact, each and every occurance of the word is
misspelled, which is quite embarresing since it's the _name_ of the language to
which wikipedia is supposedly translated.
Comment 1 JeLuF 2005-07-23 21:21:04 UTC
What would be the correct spelling?
Comment 2 Balram Adlakha 2005-07-25 03:41:10 UTC
I do not have any means to write in the hindi script and so I cannot show you
the correct spelling.
Comment 3 Yann Forget 2005-08-26 20:11:11 UTC
The right spelling is हिन्दी. I think the display is wrong for some users due to a bug in
Mozilla/Firefow while displaying the devanagari.
Comment 4 Balram Adlakha 2005-08-26 20:50:51 UTC
Yes it does seem the case. Even the spelling written by you appears wrong on my
screen. I'll check my browser, thanks for pointing it out.
