Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Douglas Gardner 2011-05-08 21:26:36 UTC
1. Navigate to [[Special:Search]]
2. Type in "#foo" into the search bar.
3. Hit return.
4. "There is a page named "[[:]]" on this wiki." -- square brackets visible, and a broken link

This only occurs when on [[Special:Search]], and not from the "go" search bar. This message should be either suppressed completely, or perhaps go to the bad title error.

fixed in r87809.

This appears to have been a generic issue with mediawiki search, and not lucene specific, so refiling accordingly
