It normalize every URL of same diff link on history, watchlist, contributions, recent changes and diff page. The advantages to a single URL is as follows. 1. In the browser, visited links will work. 2. Cache may work well. I am glad if you could consider the proposal.
(In reply to comment #0) > It normalize every URL of same diff link on history, watchlist, contributions, > recent changes and diff page. For those of us who are ignorant and too lazy to look: how would normalization change the URLs? That is, could you provide an example of a URL the same resource presented two different ways?
(I'm sorry. I can only understand simple sentences and words.) We can display a different URL on the same page, I think it's good. However, server software (MediaWiki), I should return the same URL. The following URL would have been better unified. Instance 1. - Contributes: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kamakura_Women%27s_University&diff=prev&oldid=416133414 - History: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kamakura_Women%27s_University&diff=416133414&oldid=385650448 Instance 2. - RC: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Arn&curid=6892970&diff=426352745&oldid=262340500 - Watchlist: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Arn&curid=6892970&diff=426352745&oldid=262340500 - History: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Arn&diff=426352745&oldid=262340500 - Diff(next): http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Arn&diff=next&oldid=262340500
Thank you. This exactly what I wanted.
