Description DaSch 2011-04-20 19:53:04 UTC
I don't know if this is the right extension to place this feature request. If not then please "move" it to the right place.

The idea is to give the possibility to use the geographic data from a wiki in other places. Cause at the moment there is no possibility to export geodata!?

Semantic Maps actually adds a KML result printer to SMW (see http://mapping.referata.com/wiki/Help:KML_export), which you can use to query and display data on maps across wikis. Or at least, this is the idea. The feature needs more testing, so it'd be nice if you could give it a try and report any issues you might encounter so they can be fixed.
Comment 2 Jeroen De Dauw 2011-07-22 14:51:37 UTC
Semantic Maps 1.0 has the second iteration of this KML printer and starting from SMW 1.6, geocoords will be properly handled by result printers such as JSON and XML. So I'm marking this fixed.
