Description daniel 2011-04-14 12:04:29 UTC
I have got errors on my own server about the following wiki page:
http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/WikiEspacio/index.php?title=Chontal

Since i am not owner of that wiki site, the only thing i could do is delete the entries, but they just come back every 5 minuts.
On my server (which has nothing to do with this wiki site I get the following error:
[Thu Apr 14 03:50:14 2011] [error] [client 212.95.32.53] e, referer: http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/WikiEspacio/index.php?title=Chontal&action=submit

I do get hundreds of this a day and i don't know what is going on and/ or how to avoid it.

A spambot is editing the page to readd the content (http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/WikiEspacio/index.php?title=Chontal&action=history). There are various things you can do to make it harder for spambots to edit a wiki

Hi Happy-melon,
the issue here is that this wiki @
http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/
http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/WikiEspacio/index.php?title=Chontal
is not mine, and for some reason I don't understand wny my server, which has nothing to do with this wiki is reporting errors every hour, like:

[Thu Apr 14 07:01:50 2011] [error] [client 212.95.32.53] /usr/bin/diff3: No newline at end of file, referer: http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/WikiEspacio/index.php?title=Chontal&action=submit
[Thu Apr 14 07:01:50 2011] [error] [client 212.95.32.53] /usr/bin/diff3: No newline at end of file, referer: http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/WikiEspacio/index.php?title=Chontal&action=submit

I don't know what to do, do i have a hacker on my server?!?1

I assume your page in question is http://otvet.mail.ru/question/56457966/ ?? Users are clicking on the link on the wikiamericajagg.org page and being directed to your server. There is an error on your server which is causing the "no newline at end of file" error. The referer is unrelated. You just need to find the file that the diff function is complaining about, and add a newline to the end of it. But this has nothing to do with MediaWiki.

I really appreciate this, my page isn't the one you pointed, my server is in Bluehost and main URL is http://www.net-work-s.com and that is where i get a report on Cpanel that took me to http://www.wikiamericajagg.org/WikiEspacio/index.php?title=Chontal&action=submit
when you go to this page you can see tones of SPAM url.

I must say I am totally lost on this one, i wouldn't know were to start looking, all my files on server seems OK. Probably a hacker of some sort..

Thank you again
