Description Magnus Manske 2011-03-25 20:47:23 UTC
In "Upload" tab, trying to upload two jpg files. First one seems to have uploaded, seeing spinning wheel and "Getting file information and previews..." message. Clock just keeps ticking (13 min now...), and still "0 of 2 files uploaded".

Using Chrome 12.0.712.0 dev.

JavaScript console says:
Uncaught ReferenceError: imageinfoDate is not defined [mw.UploadWizardDetails.js:527]
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

The three files that didn't load are apparently jpg thumbnails, 120px, 32px, and 60px, respectively, followed by some hex numbers and ".jpg". No URL path apparent.

Conclusion: JavaScript died, upload not happening. Not good.

Oh, and the file it died on is here:

this was just a small error left over from a JS refactor. Fixed in r84786.

However, this particular upload is also failing for some reason, the commons.prototype server doesn't create the thumbnails correctly.
