red boxes in the image

Strange red boxes appear in the animal's picture in the article http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleine_Bartfledermaus . I have seen the page with FF 3.6, Google Earth 5.2.1 and IE 8.0 with the same appearence. It seems to have something to do with the green information box, as it looks normal both on other pages using the images and in other languages than german of the animal's page

I think it's a corrupt squid cache. Requesting the image with a different query string shows a correct image, and a comparison between the two files show only a few bytes difference.

Image description page on Commons purged (which triggers squid invalidation for thumbnails as well apparently), and the image now shows correctly
