Description Amir E. Aharoni 2011-03-08 16:44:18 UTC
I would like to test LiquidThreads in a true RTL environment. The traffic in the Hebrew Wikinews is low, so there will be no significant impact on the current community. The only significant Hebrew Wikinews contributor, User:Havelock doesn't object.
Comment 1 Dovi Jacobs 2011-04-03 06:21:16 UTC
Hi Amir, if you would like to try it on he.wikisource, we can ask.

It would be a very cool feature to have, and it would actually get significant use for testing (but not too heavy).
Comment 2 Amir E. Aharoni 2011-04-03 06:35:42 UTC
Thanks for the offer. It's too early for Wikisource, because i haven't actually seen it at all working right-to-left. This can considered after basic RTL testing shows that it actually works.

Closing as later, as LQT isn't going to be deployed anywhere new atm
Comment 4 Andre Klapper 2012-11-19 15:59:14 UTC
I'm closing this request as WONTFIX as the current resolution RESOLVED LATER is deprecated (see http://article.gmane.org/gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.technical/65116 ), plus WONTFIX better reflects the situation.

This request will not get fixed, as deploying and developing LQT is on hold (see e.g. bug 19699 comment 10) and discouraged.
Its functionality will be superseded by Flow/Messaging in late 2013 or 2014, after Echo/Notifications has been successfully deployed.

For more information on Flow/Messaging see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Flow .
For more information on Echo/Notifications see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Echo_(Notifications) .
