Description Patrick 2011-03-07 08:19:10 UTC
... when setting $sfigSettings->datePickerDateFormat to 'ISO_8601'. 'yy-mm-dd' works though.

This is with SVN trunk (r83446).

This actually also happens when using datepicker, and I can't notice any difference between the two (and both seem to be jQuery-based, so probably it's just outdated documentation that made me believe there is both simpledatepicker and datepicker).
Comment 2 s7eph4n 2011-03-07 19:02:53 UTC
simpledatepicker is an alias of datepicker now and will probably removed soon. It was used to introduce the jQuery datepicker while the YUI datepicker was still around. The jQuery datepicker was since improved and now replaces the old YUI datepicker.

On the original bug: It seems that the version of the jQuery library included in MediaWiki (or in SF for MW 1.16) does not yet support ISO_8601 or any of the other named formats. Is there a need for those? Else I will just delete them from the documentation.
Comment 3 s7eph4n 2011-03-11 22:15:08 UTC
Ok, I just removed named date formats (except SHORT and LONG) from the documentation.
