It would be nice to have some restrictions, like which RSS feeds would be checked, added to the RSS extension.  Maybe this isn't necessary, but it seems like it would help minimize abuse on publicly editable wikis.

I'm not maintaining the RSS extension, so probably should not be the default assignee here.

Is it possible to create a new specific extention like RSS-FOR-WM-UKRAINE wich would allow only rss-feeds from http://wikimediaukraine.wordpress.com/ to fix my reqest https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27706 ?

I do understand that changing RSS to create a uniform decision is much more difficult then just creating an extention for the specific case.
