Description Bawolff (Brian Wolff) 2011-02-24 20:52:38 UTC
https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikinews/en/w/index.php?title=Special:RatingHistory&target=Main_Page&period=31&action=purge - there's 246 votes there, but yet not enough votes to render the graphs.

Additionally https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikinews/en/w/index.php?title=Special%3ARatedPages has no results no matter what the criteria is.

This is all new as of 1.17 upgrade.

This was reported on en wikinews water cooler

How wikipedia-specific is the public policy article feedback extension? Perhaps some wikis using readerfeedback should switch to that, since it seems to be getting more love at the moment.

The same problem (images not being displayed) happened sometimes on pt.wikibooks, but I can't reproduce it anymore.

I think it would be good idea to extend the tests of the new extension to some other wikiprojects. Indeed, there was already a poll[1] on pt.wikipedia in which the users seemed to agree that the extension would be welcome there. I could say the same about Portuguese Wikibooks (in which Reader Feedback was recently installed[2]).

Note there is another bug (bug 21982) where pages with large amounts of votes don't get graphs due to the graph making thingy running out of time. When that happens there is no "not enough votes" message.

Related, which i didn't notice existed when i filed this is bug 27592, but i do not believe that this is a config issue.

I just noticed one page for which the images are not correctly rendered:

https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikibooks/pt/w/index.php?title=Especial:RatingHistory&target=Introdu%C3%A7%C3%A3o_%C3%A0_Qu%C3%ADmica/%C3%81cidos_e_bases&period=93

I was using Google Chrome 9.0.597.107.

In the image you can see also a problem rendering the numbers in both axes (vertical and horizontal): it displays empty squares instead of the numbers.
