See screen. I can't really reproduce it, since it always goes away on page load.

Which browser, version and OS ?

Does 'it' flash on all pages ? If not, try to find something in common with them.

It doesn't happen on http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Undelete&target=File%3AIlaiyaraaja-01.jpg for me in Safari 5.
Comment 2 DieBuche 2011-02-23 12:15:39 UTC
Safari reported a parse error on the Line
<script type="text/javascript">if ( window.mediaWiki ) {

Source looked fine to me. It was if somehow the <script> starting tag couldn't be parsed.

If and when you see it again, please save the html source between <!-- /footer --> and <!-- /fixalpha --> (ie. all bottom load related stuff by ResourceLoader) somewhere and post it here.

Resolving this as a worksforme since this hasn't been reproduced in months; if it does turn up, reopen & attach snippings.
