Description Amir E. Aharoni 2011-02-22 08:46:09 UTC
Special:Stabilization is a special page created by FlaggedRevs to manipulate the protection settings of a page. That page has a field called "Other time:". It is an input box. When the interface is Hebrew, the default value of that box is still in English: "infinite".

I asked at translatewiki.net whether it can be localized. Raymond said that it's complicated and requires a more thorough solution (link: http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Thread:Support/unlocalized_default_value_for_a_field_in_Special:Stabilization )

(NB: This report refers to the version of FlaggedRevs which is currently installed in the Hebrew Wikisource. I think that it is a vanilla installation that reflects the defaults, at least as far as this page is concerned, but it may have some modifications.)

Changing summary, URL is already in the OP.

Why "enhancement"? If something cannot be translated, it is a bug, not an enhancement request.
Comment 3 Aaron Schulz 2011-02-24 02:16:07 UTC
Actually, "infinite" as a custom expiry shouldn't be the default really, it should be the localized "infinite" from the dropdown that already exists.

PageStabilityForm.php needs a rewrite with respect to getExpiry() and the "expiry" class field, which is as bad is ProtectionForm.php used to be...

Then it's a bug and not an enhancement request all the more.

Yeah it's more annoying that I thought.
