Description Bawolff (Brian Wolff) 2011-02-17 23:00:17 UTC
Viewing a diff of a page with flagged revs enabled causes the parsed page text to be loaded seperatly with ajax for prefromance reasons (from what i understand). On Image pages, its placement of the categorylinks box is incorrect. It should be at bottom, not above file history.

See https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikinews/en/w/index.php?title=File:Gippsland_League_logo.jpg&curid=244893&diff=1177715&oldid=1177713&rcid=1156700 for example.

This makes me wonder if the UI before using ajax made any sense at all. The links and history don't depend on the diff being viewed...but then you have categories after that that do.

File pages badly need a UI rewrite...

Assigning to Chad for now since he said he could look at it this past Tuesday.

robla says this is rare and related to parser cache
