Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Strainu 2011-02-17 22:28:43 UTC
When editing pages that contain templates, the usual behavior was that all the templates in the article would show at the bottom of the page. If one of the templates was a redirect, the target would also show, but with no idication of the relationship.

Since the upgrade to 1.17, only directly included templates show up. The previous behavior should be restored, and perhaps an indication of the redirect relationships should be introduced. For example, at we should have something like:

* Format:Cutie muzician (modificare)
  → Format:Infocaseta muzician (modificare)
Comment 1 Alexandre Emsenhuber [IAlex] 2011-02-19 15:12:40 UTC
[[Format:Infocaseta muzician]] is appearing correctly in the list of used templates for me.
Comment 2 Mark A. Hershberger 2011-02-19 19:29:10 UTC
Agreed, worksforme in 1.17, but I think your suggestion for how to display the redirects is worth consideration, so retitling the bug.
