In addition, I would like context such as this to work properly. Instead, it breaks on the first space after "Willy". [{{SERVER}}{{localurl:Special:Blockip|ip=Willy on Wheels}} block] Is this perhaps what the localurle was meant to do at one time? In reality, {{SERVER}}{{localurl...}} should always resolve before other wiki-text is interpreted, like the external link brackets.

The request from comment 1 is covered by / close to Bug 839: method to URL-escape arbitrary text (e.g. the name of some other page) having three duplicates: bug 1192, bug 1461, bug 5012 ("ulr magic word")
Resolving FIXED per comment #3. The bit in comment #2 is separate; simply replacing spaces there would not be sufficient as you may have something containing other metacharacters (especially '&') and the system has no way of knowing that you meant it as a literal character. See bug 839.
