Description Strainu 2011-02-15 19:25:27 UTC
When using Advanced recent changes (grouping of recent changes for the same page), marking introduced by AbuseFilter are not very visible. There are several possible enhancements:

1. If all the changes of a page are marked with a certain tag, put the message next to the grouped entry

2. If all the changes are marked with different messages, put a meta-message next to the group (like: "some of the changes triggered the Abuse Filter")

3. If all the changes of a certain user are marked, put the message next to the username in the group

Strainu, would you mind double-checking what the current situation is, and either reiterating or modifying your suggestions for what needs to happen? And with your response, please add the "design" keyword and we'll see if we can get someone from the design community to make a mockup. Thanks!

As far as I can see, nothing significant has happened in the last 2 years.

I stand by suggestion no. 1.

Suggestion no. 2 still stands, but it contains a typo. It should read:
2. If *some of* the changes are marked with different messages, put a meta-message
next to the group (like: "some of the changes triggered the Abuse Filter")

Suggestion number 3 might be a little confusing, perhaps someone has a better idea for flagging the responsible user. If not, well, too bad.
