Description jasephase 2011-02-09 07:13:47 UTC
MediaWiki is especially well suited for the purposes of education. But rather than just give people access to encyclopedia articles, I think that the knowledge should be broken down into study-able pieces.

To those ends, I would like to be able to include functionality like that found at [http://www.mnemosyne-proj.org Mnemosyne] or [http://memorize.com/ Memorize.com] within my site.

The extension should be placed within a page at multiple positions if so desired. Each location may store single or multiple cards.

Each card consists of a Question and an Answer, both of which should be community editable with wiki markup text.

At the most basic level the user will see the Question, have time to think of the answer, press some button, and be shown the answer.

A user will then be able to add an individual flashcard or stack thereof to categorical collections of flashcards within the user's profile page.

Thank you!
