Halló! It is posible to display category dependencies (category path) as you can see at http://jadesukka.homelinux.org:8180/betawiki/Kuva:Category_path_02.jpg . This feature is probably activated in ... / ??? . If you take a look at [[en:Template:Articlespace]] you will see - neither the templates used to generate this template - - the parameter names (if used) - - - the actual values (values at the current page) of the parameters - nor the graph showing how the template is generated / build The request: - offer an option to display the information mentioned above to allow newbees a better understanding of how (nested) templates are build and working - activate this feature by default for the template namespace where the (normal) pages are quite small - include specialities as (infinite recursion) detected anyway and available in some (test) versions I have seen these days Benefits: - this kind of *debug* feature would make fault finding easier - - time saving - this would atract contributors to the template namespace Relation to bug 662: Templates inside template parameters Versions with bug 662 (where the patch http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/attachment.cgi?id=77&action=view is available) render templates very odd. The request would offer some help and a better readability of affected pages. Regards Reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
Can someone summarise this issue in plain English? The URL mentioned in comment 0 seems to be broken.
