The ETA (progress bar) for the XML dumps page text files shows the percent of the revision texts that were prefetched (read from a previous file instead of being requested from the db).  This percentage is given based on the entire number of revisions processed by the job up to that point, and the entire number of revisions read from the file.  It would be good to have the percentage for the last minute or 5 minutes as well, since we could then see which groups of pages or revisions are not being prefetched and investigate, in case there is a problem with more than just the occasional revision.

in trunk for dumps of text revisions: r84843.  still needs fix for stubs, abstracts.

This has been done for a while, I should remember to close these bugs at the time.  Oh well, better late than never.
