Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Peter Gervai (grin) 2004-09-02 18:51:03 UTC
Tried to send email to myself from hu.wikipedia.org and it did not arrive. Others reported the
same. Is the MTA broken, or someone played with firewall settings?
Comment 1 Emil Jerabek 2004-09-09 13:19:17 UTC
More details, and a workaround: I had the same problem, and I found out that the
feature works if and only if I set a nonempty nickname in Preferences. (NB: the
nickname is _not_ used for anything related to email.)
Comment 2 Wil Mahan 2004-10-01 03:03:20 UTC
I created an account on hu.wikipedia.org, and sending mail to myself worked,
both with and without a nickname. It also works on en, and in the latest CVS
branches of MediaWiki. Is this still reproducible?
Comment 3 Wil Mahan 2004-10-01 03:10:14 UTC
Word on #mediawiki is that this was a server configuration issue, and it should
be fixed now (thanks Kate).
