You're using {{ns:file}} when you should be using File:
Comment 2 LordAndrew 2011-01-27 18:29:55 UTC
{{ns:file}} was added by the gallery button on the WikiEditor toolbar. Nadeesha didn't do that.
Comment 3 Bawolff (Brian Wolff) 2011-01-27 18:59:36 UTC
Presumably, {{ns:file}} was supposed to be converted to the localized version of the file namespace before inserting.

re-opening, changing component to the wiki-editor extension

Seems to work fine in 1.16wmf4. Haven't checked trunk / 1.17 yet.
Comment 5 Roan Kattouw 2011-01-28 00:21:05 UTC
This got fixed at some point (too lazy to find the rev #) and merged to 1.17
