It seems that the description page from commons doesn't appear on all images. These two examples are images from commons: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immagine:MariadeMedici.jpg - shows the description http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immagine:V838_Mon_HST.jpg - doesn't show the description
Now the behaviour is swapped: the first link doesn't show the description, the second does. Maybe it's affected by db lag.
Looks fine to me.
Example tested on * http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terroranschl%C3%A4ge_am_7._Juli_2005_in_London with * [[Bild:Nettsigae.jpg|thumb|Das im Internet erschienene Bekennerschreiben]] * [[Image:Nettsigae.jpg|thumb|Das im Internet erschienene Bekennerschreiben]] With [[Bild:...]] the image description was not shown. With [[Image:...]] the image description was shown. So I thought that the language specific image tag caused that the description from commons is not shown. But this isn't the case. It works in other examples.
this is a problem from db/cache/server. the bug occurs more often when loading many images at the same time. sometimes the description will not be shown. when reloading the page, the description is mostly shown.
Is this problem still acute? I haven't seen this for month...
I don't think it's a MediaWiki problem. I also see the description in both of the first pictures.
